I do think that we are capable of such an impulse. It's what makes people running into burning cars, storming into a hail of bullets to safe a comrad or jump into icecold water to save a drowning person.
The problem is, though, that our society have brainwashed and conditioned men to do this for women constantly and to the point of self-abandonment and utter exhaustion. While no one will ever do this for them.
This is why I will call the police when I see a guy and a woman fighting, especially nowadays when the risk of getting knifed is extremely high. Hell, here in Germany our new diverse citizens are knifing people left and right to the point where the mainstream media has problems covering this up.
Why should I risk my life for women who would not even spit on me if I was on fire? Pffft...

In centuries and societies past, going to war to protect the land, women and culture was a form of white-knitism. Nowadays boys are born into a world where they are in constant competition with girls for resources, education and the best jobs.

Fertile women used to be the most precious thing. I’d argue that now they are the most dangerous thing for humanity given that the greatest threat to species survival is population growth. But it’s not easy to overcome engrained behaviours particularly when there is still immense social pressure supporting them. We should always be putting young women at risk first.

Please link or describe the title of the survey if you have it. I'm curious to know if the data was broken down by age groups. My guess is that younger women (Millenials <35 and younger generations) are more likely to be rationalizingly logical. That makes me wonder if behind all their feelz is a fierce determined logic driving for their own power, and despite the outer caring facade (for their special victims groups) they are really just calculating hedonists.
They know that social media mate swiping works in their favor, always, and they are lapping it up in a hurry. Real AI android synthesized humans would probably change that. Crude sex dolls may be enough for some blokes who just want to bust one out. And who knows, maybe sex dolls will draw a few of the Chads away from Tinder and Bumble taking away some of the supply of attention from women. But the more 'woke' we are the better we are able to avoid future traps and pain.

Can you show me those videos? To be honest i disagree with you. I normally present here very politcally incorrect views on women and other things like islam. But on this i dont agree at all. Females of all species are normally weaker and more cowardly than the males. But there is a huge exception, and thats when the babies are in danger. You might run into to trouble by facing a wolf in the middle of a forest, but you better not approach a female wolf that has its babies around, she will fight you to death. And i have seen similar situations like this when it comes to dogs. Some women get also a boost of energy during divorce cases, they wise up, and they become more energetic, and they will do anything to get the kids. They then relax and go into a resting comma after the case. Women do not display this combatative behavior even when being raped. This could also be explained that hypergamy when it comes to sexual relations is often defeated by the kids. Because the ultimate escalation of hypergamy is the kids, where even the top Chad will be discarded or used for the benefit of the woman and her genes.

The thing is, I always wanted to be a "white knight" when I grew up.
A man his woman can rely on, feel protected, supported, loved, safe, respected. "The perfect guy".
But doing that gets you cheated on at light speed. White Knighting only works if the woman is a decent person; otherwise she'll use you for your money/servitude/favors/company and then fuck other men.

The the things that make men great people, fathers, husbands, and protectors are the things that repulse a woman sexually. Being a white knight and the perfect guy is the single best way to ensure that no woman ever wants you. It's sad, but it's how they are made. Even back on the "good old days", women felt the same. The only difference is that there was strong social and legal pressures that kept women in line, and ensured they'd pick good men over violent losers.
