Don't worry about what women would label it. Women are categorized by 2 primary functions: Self-delusion and projecting what they hate about themselves onto everybody else's shoulders. That means everything females say is the direct opposite of reality. "Wish fulfillment" is the perfect description for their obsession over fakeup, high heels, store-bought wigs, breast implants, etc.

Acetone badly damages plastic surfaces, so I'd avoid it unless you know for a fact its a ceramic surface board.
90-99% isopropyl is inexpensive, available in big box stores (walmart, etc) usually in the health section, doesn't smell anywhere near as bad as acetone, and won't damage the surface.
So I'd go with that.

that's the difference between a lot of male characters and female ones. The guys usually do have a backstory plus a bit more age to them - Batman, James Bond, and Indiana Jones are all guys who have some mileage i.e. experience to them. They aren't some 20 year old hotshot because it would defy credibility.
When your male character is young like a Luke Skywalker you make him fail as much as he wins in order to make his final success a satisfying one. In A New Hope, Luke fucks up a lot and is shown up a lot by just about everyone but at the same time we are told about his piloting skills by other characters so when he blows up the Death Star we know it's a combination of both the Force and his established flying skills.
Rey on the other hand is just naturally good at anything she puts her mind to without any explanation or backstory. She rarely if ever faces failure. She flies the Falcon expertly, figures out how to fix it better than Han, beats Kylo Ren who has been studying the Dark Side for years, beats Luke Skywalker a man who once beat even Darth Vader in a moment of anger. She is girl power manifest which cannot take (and learn from) failure. She's just the best because she's a girl and she's the best.
