Well, let's think this through logically: she started out being reckless and entitled, she committed a crime that a man would be seeing hard time for and got off scot-free while LITERALLY being told she was so special that she's too good for jail. That's the female psychological equivalent of throwing napalm on a dumpster fire.

Why WOULDN'T she think she could do something like it again? She thinks she's bulletproof and that the legal system will let her get away with anything; at what point has negative reinforcement come into play for her? And when she inevitably does do something to this kid, either by trying to assault him or something as pedestrian as gold-dig off him or try to set him up on a false accusation, what do you think the father will do then? In that world, none of them can be seen as weak, because then it's like chum in the water, and he's the wounded shark. He'd HAVE to retaliate some way in order to regain his reputation. What's some Western girl to him? Probably got 3 girls just like her from some village in Whogivesafuckistan chained up in his crib, what's a fourth going to set him back for?

I'm sure he'd be nice about it: save her only for the son for when he comes home to visit, something like that.
