Do you let women exit an elevator first? I feel like it’s a subservient simp m’lady behavior that I’m having a hard time complying with these days.

Earlier today, I proceeded to exit the elevator first and got into a shoulder jam with a woman as she proceeded to exit the elevator as well. She then proceeded to make a chide “lady’s first” shaming remark.

I guess if I want to continue ghosting in plain site in the corporate environment, I’ll have to let woman exit the elevator first, but I don’t like it.
