I've met a lot of these, especially in their 20s and early 30s, usually the prettier ones, from my experience. They're flexing their powers over men using sensitivity and entitlement as their weapons. I start up a lot less conversations now, so I'm not sure if they grow out of it.

Many people myself included having been saying for years that these entitled morons are trying to set themselves up as a new aristocracy/nobility/priesthood.

All these morality games and cause celebres were the entertainment of the idle rich, but in the modern world us common peasants dare to also have a say in what they are doing to our world.

Her bitching complaint here is to do with the idea of Introductions ie the way to keep the aristocracies social circles elite and discerning and keep out the riff raff was to not talk to anyone you hadn't talked to before unless they were introduced to you by a 3rd party who was already in your social circle.
