Guys I’ve had it. I think I’m done.

I’m 35yrs old, work my ass off and I’m pretty successful, my career is in medical research, so I’m stable financially (not super wealthy) have an “admirable” career, often in the media talking about my published work etc.

My hobbies/passions are: Music, I play the guitar and have been in bands, played gigs; MMA, I really enjoy training and hope to have my first amateur fight.

That’s me. Loyal, uncomplicated, good intentions. Decent guy.

Yet time after time women close to me simply attack. They go on the offensive. Totally emotional and unexpected. When I’m in a relationship my career suffers, my hobbies do and my happiness does too

I’m in a relationship now, it’s been 8months. The first 3 months were perfect. Then I found out, before she met me she lent £1000 to a guy, and he still hasn’t given it back. So I found texts on her phone of her asking for her money back (which is fine) but she never mentioned me, and there were texts from him saying “remember when I licked your p*****”. Etc etc This was going on behind my back whilst she was with me. So not cheating, but totally disrespectful to me. We’ve had problems since then and I don’t know if it’s working.

Then I speak to my own mother about me and my gf arguing. Of course she tries to give me advice. Then I mention my gf is against me doing MMA. And my mother does the same as my gf, explodes in a fit of emotion/aggression.

The older I get the more it seems all women are the same at their core.

All can at any time - Emotionally explode. Ignore your passions/hobbies/opinions. Manipulate you.

I’ve reached the point where my only interest in women is for sex. My experiences are shaping my attitude to that of “women are only useful for sex”.

I would love to consider women more than that. But after 20years of trying. I come up against the same problems time after time.

When women told me “oh I’ve been used/hurt in the past so you’ll have to put up with me being (insert problem)”. I used to feel angry at those guys. But now I realise they were one step ahead of me.

If I was beta enough then I would put up with these things and be like many miserable married men. But I can’t.

Here’s to finding your identity as a man.

I hope my experiences can help the younger readers on here.
