My buddy has a sword passed down from his grandfather who fought in the Pacific. Not nearly as pretty as that one though.

One thing about "real" katanas or similar single edged swords is they're fucking heavy. I've held many display pieces made in China, and they may as well be made of wood compared to steel made to kill (keel? Cut?).
