I can only speak for myself as a Christian. I store my treasures up in Heaven. That's the only thing I can take with me when I die. I, like many of you suffer greatly on this world. Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

As MGTOW, we are poor in spirit. We hunger after righteousness, but we will not find it in this sinful, fallen world. But, our long-suffering will be rewarded at death. God will safely store our treasures in Heaven and we will be able to throw our crowns at the feet of God during Judgment.

I can only pray for the non-Christians. I hope you find meaning, although I know you won't find it.

Stop comparing yourself with other people and you'll be fine. Also, consider that you see only 5% of other people's lives, just the part that they want you to see (Instagram, Facebook,...)

Ask yourself if you are wiser than what you were five years ago instead. Stop thinking about what other will think of you. I see a lot of this crap coming from USA: "I need to prove myself to others". Most of you are fed with this shit, so I am not surprised about how many of you feel less when they should feel fine with what they have. Maybe this thinking is a kind of sophisticated carrot because there will always be someone better than you, so you will never cease running (and therefore self-indulging oneself in 'mindlessly consumerism') to achieve that "true remarkable lives".

Conserving my peace of mind is more valuable than showing others how 'remarkable' my life is, IMO. Interestingly, people that constantly show off how 'remarkable' their lives are, are also the most needy of external validation in the form of 'likes' so they can be reassured of how wonderful they are. Isn't it curious?

Watch this for an alternative perspective.

I'd say do your best to be eccentric. You won't be Alexander the Great or Tommy Emmanuel if you're not born in the right place at the right time and/or start working on your passion REALLY early. But there are many great men who made memorable contributions to humanity just by hard work, even if they started late.

A French doctor from the end of the XIXth called Claude Bernard failed just about every exam to become a doctor of the time, but he kept going. He experimented a lot with medical techniques and ideas because he had failed so much. In the end, he became one of the fathers of modern medicine, just by bringing serious experimentation into the game.

Then you have youtubers like Mark Brown and videogamedunkey. Their work is just the kind an "average" person does. Video game review or comedy. But it is of an excellent quality, because they've done it with great passion and for a long while.

Also, there really is no "useless experience". Having a love for video games has made me a better mathematician, because it imprinted geometry into my mind at an early age. So just make the best of what you have learned to better the one field you are most passionate about.

Don't be so hard on yourself. Find things you love, do them a lot, and you'll become exceptional.

Words like "average" and "mediocre" are socially relative terms. They measure you against other people. But a man going his own way can dispense with this. He can identify his own priorities, his own goals, the things in life that are essential to him, and the things in life that he's prepared to sacrifice. Then he can seek the satisfaction of his own goals regardless of whether they make him better or worse, higher or lower, superior or inferior, to other people.

Society is always requiring men to "prove their manhood" in comparison to other men and in comparison to society's expectations of men. The freedom of MGTOW is that the only person you have to prove yourself to is yourself. Your contentment in life need not be dependent upon what anyone else thinks. Your life is your own.

Remarkable as compared to what? Being average is only relative to other people and what they think of you. If you don't care what they think then average and remarkable are meaningless.

Are people like Kim Kardashian remarkable just because a bunch of morons love her? How about pretty much anyone in Hollywood? Why? Because they were good looking, so they got movie parts and became rich? Once again simply because the unwashed masses went to see their movies.

You're already 'not average' if your a MGTOW. You're already outside of the scope of the masses and unusual. Now if you want to do something interesting with your life, then by all means do it. Being wealthy and famous though has nothing to do with it.
