So, I always thought of myself as being smart. And I am smart for certain things, like technology. It's super easy for me to get it and be creative with it, and find solutions where others give up.

This gave me (false) feeling of overall intelligence. I thought I was overall big shot.

Yet I lost some matches over lesser competitors, in particular when it came to being chosen by people. Like, bidding for a project and the like. I had superior solution, but I lost.

For a long time I didn't get it. Now I do. I'm totally stupid when it comes to people. To the point that I wonder if I'm slightly autistic. People just don't like me and to be honest, I'm not interested in them.

But, in the society, people intelligence / emotional intelligence will get you much further than being "smart". Sucks for me I guess, because I will just never be good in that department, at least not directly.

Which brought me to wonder about other stuff as well. I really think I'm not that smart overall. I'm just smart for that one thing. I guess it's ok, it's better to know my weaknesses than rely on something that does not exist.
