Oh I remember when a female coworker went to live in the US and got asked out by an American dude.

As it is typical for women in our country, she first said "No" - she wanted him to try harder.

OP just made me realize why women hate themselves. They literally set themselves up to fail, and be ultimately rejected...because they need to play zero sum games instead of doing what is the nobrainer, right choice. Had a woman recently into me who insisted on forcing me to compete with a...married, beta orbiter. As soon as I realized what was going on I emotionally checked out, and holy shit did the result of her own stupidity and vanity cause a maelstrom.
