Do you really think it's going to shit? I m really uncertain. Obviously the system is broken, but it should have failed so many times before and didn't, and if it did, everyone would loose, so they will all make it work - or try anyways.

Beeing young and all, I don't have huge savings anyways, will see to getting more cash from the bank and buying something like silver I guess? Some more food maybe, can't hurt... What are your tips to get now, while it's still possible?

Honestly I boggles my mind. Along with the insane repo market, the federal reserve has gone out of control. What happens when inflation starts rising (bearing in mind one of the main aims of the FED is price stability)? If they raise interest rates to combat the inflation they will bankrupt the government...

It amazes me how clueless most people are. Completely unconcerned about what is going on with the fed, central banks, government and the economy...but freaking the fuck out over a virus that frankly, is not much more deadly than the flu. The flu is actually pretty deadly, by the way...but no one cares.

What we are witnessing is historic. We are going to see the worst depression in history, and possibly live through it if we can even survive. It's going to be worldwide. This is all unprecedented. It's starting right now. This stupid virus is insignificant, in comparison.

I have a sneaking suspicion that all of these financial maneuvers are occurring on the current financial system because it is about to be deprecated. During this insane time, if we were to switch back to a gold standard and a government controlled treasury system... the current currency would become worthless and the gold-backed currency would make it very easy to pay off loans/debts and such accrued on the current system.

I also suspect Trump is doing all of this because he knows they are going through with a switch. It is much harder to recover economically if people are homeless and financially ruined. Why wouldn't he blast his voting record to oblivion (as a free market, anti regulation stud) if it stops people from losing their homes AND makes it that much easier to recover on the new standard.

In short, convert most of your excess liquid cash into gold ASAP.

Hypefinflation is not coming. It takes huge, prolonged money printing - same if it is digital printing - to cause hyperinflation. A deep recession is more possible, as the economy will need to adjust to the sudden loss of purchases made by newly unemployed people and businesses going under during the lockdown.

Yeah the no limit easing really sent me the chills. Even after 2008, I think it was 1 trillion. Lost a lot of value in my dollar holdings. Luckily this time around, my usd holdings are minimal, but yeah, this is going to suck balls.

Please do not critisize this extremely altruistic process. As we all know there is a serious shortage of toilet paper and some say we may never see more in our life times. It is the responsibility of the government to supply us what is missing, and the whole reason for this no limit money flooding is so that we can all use our greenbacks as toilet paper. If you got money, then you got toilet paper. Hurray!
