The only upside about being in a relationship is sex. I've only met one girl Ive ever been able to connect with on an intellectual/emotional level, but even then she was micromanaging my time. If you marry, the sex dries up entirely. No thanks. I don't exactly totally enjoy being single, but Ive been married once and dated enough after to realize, doing what you want, when you want is a huge plus. Especially sleep. I really enjoy sleeping and waking up whenever I want without anyone nagging me to wake up. Especially being I work on call and they don't work or have set hours.

Of course children are a relationship up side, but having them is too much a hazard as most women nowadays are flight risks and government is happily on their side to pillage everything you have.

A couple months ago I got an Oculus Rift. I rearranged the furniture in the second room of my 2 bedroom apartment to allow for a decent sized play area. My hard earned money, my room layout, and no judgment allowed for this. Every time I play Skyrim VR or Beat Saber, I remember how this setup wouldn't be possible if I wasn't single.

Media has forced this image down our collective throats that a guy without a girlfriend is sad and pathetic (though incels don't help in this regard) and having a girlfriend fulfills him.
