This one is up to you buddy, do not throw something away because some people on the internet have a opinion about a certain aspect. However if you read about MGTOW and truly believe it you might want to reflect on you current life and then decide what you want to do, wether this includes your girlfriend or not is up to you. I do not see major red flags when girls in general are nice to be with and make you happy, but if you are dancing to her whims or indeed she is pushing some agenda just look for it and if it is there it is there. Then wonder where you want to be in a couple of years and how you want to life, which is hard to figure out. But please do not dump you girlfriend because it might fit better with MGTOW, dump her if you feel like she is no longer inline with what you want your life to be.

I read your story and see so many red flags. However like many here have already said, perhaps this is something you need to learn yourself.

I don't wanna break your heart with some cold harsh truths but please read more about the lives and experiences of those who have been through it so you don't have to.

Can you afford to pay for a lawyer to keep you out of jail when she manages to accuses you of abuse/domestic violence/rape?
Can you handle the real struggle prior to the false allegations where you will find a hard time getting a job, overcoming depression and loss of family members and friendships?
Are you able to accept the fact that she's monkey-branching you with the next best tier? She will feel no remorse when she dumps you and she will fight to keep the dog and probably kill it. Are you willing to accept that?
Are you willing to risk your life and tolerate any bullshit that's coming out of her mouth and her actions in the future when she gets more comfortable around you?

The great thing about operating based upon feelings is they’re incredibly potent and feel awesome and real like nothing else. However, feelings change over time, disciplines do not. When a woman says I love you, you can probably count on them meaning that given the current set of circumstances. However, given another set of options they’re angry at you and say something like I hate you. They mean that in terms of their current reality. Divide between reality (based upon circumstances and experiences) and the truth (actions over a long period of time. Not saying break up today, but you will probably be have to at some point in the future, so you may want to milk the reality you have right now for all it’s got then bail when your circumstances shift.

Hi I am glad that you are happy. You are at the start of the journey this is the part when you are young and good looking and not a pot to piss in no ties working on your education and it’s all new and shiny. She is about todo vet school which is harder than med school. That is a real strain on a relationship she will be hammering the studies and racking up debt. What will you be doing. I note you never said what you do.

I suspect you have a normal job so what’s going to happen whilst she is a vet school will you pick up the tab whilst she studies? Afterwards she will be a professional and presumably you will not. There are a lot of studies where women are bringing in more than a man (red flag) you probably presume that after you have convered the bills whilst she studied she will repay the favour (red flag bruffaults law) you also presume that when she is a professional she will not monkey branch to a professional (red flag hypergamy).

I wish you luck but I do think you are in for a hard time, but perhaps nawalt.

My girlfriend also says she's a feminist but I suspect in her case and perhaps the case of your GF they say that almost automatically as though they can't imagine anything else. So forget the word itself and examine dispassionately what she does and how she behaves both to you and to others.

As for longer term, I'd be very wary of marrying any woman, however virtuous she is because once you're married or cohabiting for long enough in certain jurisdictions then if it goes pear shaped she'd have the power of the state behind her.

Listen to advice from here but I'd say treat all advice sceptically (even mine) - does the advice make sense, is it logical, is it rational?

How many happy relatives are there in your family circle? I swear that the more unhappy/divorced/"complicated" family members someone has the more likely the bad outcomes are. You're still young. Stay together if that's what makes sense. Don't let a "go your own way" group decide for you what to do. But while you're together, figure yourself out. She's off to vet school. What self-improvement thing will you take on?
