We don’t have a gender pay gap here in Australia. In fact, we have institutions & systems in place such as the Department of Fair Trading, Fair Work, and even the fair work ombudsman..all existing for the sole purpose of ensuring that workers, male AND female, aren’t discriminated against or treated unfairly/taken advantage of.

And with all these strict labor laws in place, chicks here still want to kick up a stink because karen the admin girl who sporadically takes time off isn’t earning the same amount of coin as billy the operations manager. So now the rest of us mugs that go to work to make a living have to sit in traffic and congestion today on our way home from work, coming up on peak hour. Brilliant.

I wish they would settle on a number, it moves up and down almost at whim. Uber have explained via there own survey, that at least 7% of the supposed gap has nothing to do with gender.
