Save enough money for living costs for at least 1-year, as insurance for anything unexpected happening. Stay away from penny-stocks, unless you have some inside info, or are very lucky, they are just a gamble (pretty much like most stocks, but even higher risk). I would say investing in dividend stocks would be a decent option, or if you have any business ideas that require some starting capital, if you can put in the extra work, you can make a much higher return on your investment that way than most "passive" options out there.

Best investment advice I got: no one knows for sure what the next best investment is. Invest in the companies of which you buy their products. If you love apple products, get apple stock. If you love adidas, buy their stock.

I followed that advice and it hasn’t failed me yet.

Avoid penny stock.

As mentioned earlier, once you save a decent amount....consider adding real estate to your portfolio.

You’re doing great so far. Keep on working hard and keep your eyes on the target.

Fuck penny stocks. Trade options and futures on a platform like TD Ameritrade’s Sink or Swim. Just finished a long soybean trade not too long ago and currently shorting s&p500. It always amazes me how many people don’t think about commodities.

I think it would be best to slow down, continue to save, and invest in online courses to educate yourself. Knowledge will give you the power to be wiser with your money. Also, save food and water to be ready for disasters, etc. You can't eat a motorcycle.

Crypto. You'll learn trading, its HIGHLY volatile (movements around 5-20% per day are common), and you'll live if you lose that few grand.

Other option is small business- you'll learn accounting, invoicing, sales, client relationships, etc.

Please don't take this personally, but it seems like you should spend some time educating yourself about money and investments. Asking this question is a great start!

If I were you, I'd put my money in an index fund that tracks the broader market and has low expenses, so something like an index fund that tracks the S&P 500. If you were interested in gold, tech, real estate, etc., you could invest in an index fund that tracks one of these asset classes/sectors. While you're letting your money work, keep your living expenses low, educate yourself on investment options, and then gradually scale in to more sophisticated assets that might produce a higher return once you're aware of your options, their associated risks, and your tolerance for risk. Working with a financial advisor could help expedite this process. You might also consider reading The Richest Man in Babylon.

Time is your best ally now that will turn into an enemy over time. Save now until it hurts. put it in accounts that do not risk your principal. When you have enough, and it should not take long if you are ruthless with yourself, you can start investing.

Two things to do while you accumulate: learn double entry accounting and read, read, read on money.

Look. Try before you buy. If you think you can make money on gold, cryptocurrency or shorting stock then do it on paper first.

Write your investment and date then buy/sell ( including the commissions) and see if you would have made money.

I found I'm no wall street wizard. Buffet likes index funds for people like me.

Going through Dave Ramsey total money makeover was one of the best decisions I've ever made. Hes not telling any secret advice but it's simple things you just dont think about day to day.
