I remember around 2000, a cute little 105 lb teenage Hispanic chick at work who was of course, super popular. She inevitably got herself knocked up by one of her chads, and carried the child to term because Catholic. I suggested she consider marrying her baby's father, because a close family member of mine had been a single mother and had actually turned down his proposal, and it was hard to get any guy to take her seriously after that. No lie, she had to wait for her first child to grow up and move out before she could find a husband.

She said, "But..a lot of my friends are married to guys who are not their babies' fathers!" Actually I didn't mean to rattle her, she was practically a child herself.
