It is alleged women outnumber men in places like Manhattan. They can't afford they own place so they do things like 6 adult women sharing a 1 bedroom apartment. They all move to Manhattan for hypergamy fantasies.

Of course the high income man they desire is either working 60 hours a week and has no time to date (and he's not into broke ass women) or he's over the age of 65 (statistically millionaires in the US are not young guys).

I consider it a curse to have lived in Manhattan growing up, exposed and drawn into the hedonist degeneracy...not only were we conditioned to see value in it, but it was so easy to play the hookup game and sleep with a dozen girls from okc/tinder...yeah, great success, and it wasn't for years after that I saw just how much time and energy and overall life I had thrown away just for female attention and intimacy

I honestly don't know if it's more depressing, truly heartbreaking to want women so badly and succeed, or fail...all I have to show for it is the experience, and what a worthless thing that is

I hate and love this city. Love it for diverse nature, hate it for assholes and criminals. But nowadays most people in the city are SJWs... I'm glad I lived in the city enough that I don't have any fantasy to it. I will only visit Manhattan for my friends, that's it.

Manhattan is a great place for MGTOW. Nobody has any kids and there's no pressure to have kids. Salaries are high, commutes are short, and there's more opportunity here than almost anywhere in the USA. Also, Manhattan has some of the highest lifespans in the USA because walking is GOOD for you.

The level of hypergamy in this city has gone over delusional. I had a short contract with an aerospace firm and while I lived there, I was lucky to be considered "average" at 6'2", $300k yr equivalent salary. If you are not a Nordic demigod pulling $500k+ as a Wall Street broker, you're not an "eligible man".

On the other hand, this is PumpAndDump Central if you are into 45+ postwall yoga vegan hags.

Lived there for a while...I enjoyed being able to walk to so many places at any time of the day/night, and you can find of group of like-minded people to hang out with almost no matter what you're interested in.

Me personally, I like the outdoors and nature, so Manhattan sucked for me, also it was too crowded and the weather sucked...first the freezing winter and the suffocating summer was even worse. It's 10times worse in manhattan because unless you're rich, you have to walk everywhere and are exposed to the weather, unlike other cities where you can own a car.
