ive been using a bread maker for years...you can set it so teh loaf is ready just when your alarm goes off. great way to start the day!

I baked my own bread when I worked 55 hours a week. It's 5 minutes of work, and tastes better. I didn't need to do it because of the much lower cost. Single mothers say they buy convenience foods because they don't have time. If they did this they would have more money.

Making bread is a joy.. Have you attempted a sourdough starter ? Lots of work, and you have to look after it like a pet.

Nothing beats poached egg on sourdough.
