At this point can we really blame females for acting like females? Anyway, notice that the boyfriend only started to act weird after visiting that so-called counselor. I wouldn't be surprised if that counselor is a female that believes in the psychological manipulation of men in order to force them to cry.

She loved him before. Said he was a tough macho type. So obviously, despite getting molested by the step brother, He got over it! As for the guy I believe he should stop that therapy bullshit, get some actual counseling from trained professional Men in a clinical setting (and not some fucking manipulative cunt renting an office space at the mall) and get his life back in order. I didn't experience anything like this, but I confided in my wife how much I missed my uncle who just died. I cried a little (which was the first time she had seen me in our 15 years if marriage). She has not acted any different around me but I can said that afterwards it wasnt cathartic. I started to feel ashamed at showing her weakness. In any form. Just don't do it. Not even once. The red pill in me was a little revolted.
