I've always disliked weddings largely because I've instinctively been MGTOW from an early age but I had a thought: should MGTOW attend weddings? I think the answer is no. We shouldn't be supporting this institution with our money and attention. All we do is encourage superficiality and we give others an opportunity to look down on us for being MGTOW.

Exceptions can be made for close friends and family (but honestly you're going to lose that friend when he gets married anyway). What do you think? I'll admit this is my preference anyway as I feel like weddings are a waste of time and money but I wanted to see what others think and also alleviate the guilt I have for not going to weddings I'm invited to.
