It's useful to have words and terms to communicate ideas.

Imagine if you lived in a dystopia you didn't have words like revolution or uprising, how would you communicate that you wanted to have one?

MGTOW and being able to describes MGTOW allows ideas to spread beyond just the odd few individuals.

I've gone my own way for a long time as well. Not just with women, but in any aspect of life. Some of it by choice and some by lack of direction.

Why give it a name? It has turned into a small subculture movement. And with the internet - it has blogs & forums that get organized by the people who go to them.

Good to find the community and talk about it. But i thought about it and think MGTOW is a strange name for it. Its not about doing whatever you want, like some think now. Because that would include every thing ever. Its about rejecting gynocentrism and being your own master.

I don't need MGTOW as a label, for I will do as I please regardless of what it means or does not mean. What I like is the sounding board the forums provide, a place to speak freely about how the viewpoint of "going your own way" illuminates society and relationships.

Before this lame as fuck MGTOW label, we were happy bachelors and we were still doing our own thing, the only thing that has changed is a catchy marketing logo with an ulterior motive, don't fall for it.
