I am older than most of you guys, and I've noticed something interesting. After the age of about 45 or so, any woman who is single, remotely attractive and expresses anything above and beyond basic courtesy invariably has some kind of big life problem going on. It's becoming kind of a rule of thumb for me. If she seems to like me, she's got something going on and she sees me as a potential (usually financial) solution.

I was at a party a couple of weeks ago, and was talking to this woman named Susan. She was very friendly, interesting, and so on, and not unattractive. However, something didn't add up. She was talking about how she was really into mountain biking. There is an enormous, famous mountain biking area above my town (Santa Cruz, California) that features some landmarks anyone who has mountain biked up there even once should instantly recognize -- http://reviews.mtbr.com/photo-gallery-art-and-grafitti-on-the-tanks-of-uc-santa-cruz/4 I showed her a picture of me biking there and she had no idea what it was -- uh-oh. Antenna up. There were also extensive descriptions of her action sports injuries, which sounded pretty fishy. Finally, I was talking to a third friend about her later, and it turned out Susan was completely crazy, and something of a liar, too. If they're not crazy, they are aging single mommies with kids and money problems. Or drinking/drug problems. Bottom line -- if they're single after a certain age, something's almost always really wrong. Younger MGTOWs, take note.
