There truly is very little anti suicide support. The vast majority of organizations are agenda based. The last thing you want when suicidal is to have somebody's political agenda shoved in your face. The other huge problem is it becomes a muck hole for attention seekers. AKA fake I have problems (Mostly women) that just want attention on the threat of I'll kill myself if you dont' pay attention. Even though they will not go through with it or will just take some pills, call 911 and have their stomach pumped.

Moreover, when it comes to "gun violence"; statistically THE most likely person to be killed by any given gun... is the owner/possessor of the gun.

Foolish people attempt to use that as an excuse to "ban guns" -- ignoring that the gun is merely ONE tool that can be used to commit suicide; one never hears anyone talk about banning ROPE, even though self-hanging via rope is almost as prevalent a "tool" of suicide as guns. (Or again, people don't argue that automobiles {or any/all exhaust fume producing engine machines} should be "banned" because people use those too as a "tool" to commit suicide).
