I love the ending
The post has since been deleted.
Way to go guys, we shamed that bitch into submission. Even other chicks were coming after that whore. Hope this guy learned his lesson and ran for the hills.
[–]Gingerbreadmannnn42 points43 points44 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Notice how the women criticizing her were all older women though. The only young looking chick there even said theres “nothing wrong with wanting an expensive ring”. You can see the difference in mentality

that’s the half life of an ‘interesting vagina’. These hoes KNOW what they got and use it up...some don’t make it long if they have abortions (thank god for karma).
It takes dry vag, stds and grandchildren to wake adult women up. aka no hope.

Never though I'd see women shame one of their own. I guess they can see the world around them.

Its funny how its way too little too late to stop that train wreck from occurring.
The ones of us who have at least two brain cells to rub together are getting the fuck out of dodge posthaste.
Even if it is for selfish reasons i do somewhat admire that they are finally "curbing" this bad behavior, social pressure is what used to prevent people from acting like this, the perception that this is in fact actually acceptable is the reason why we see so much of it now.
But the damage control has come way too little and too late ladies.

Those are some great comments in the article ...

They are most destructive among themselves

He is talking about the size of her own rings.
[–]antifeminist345 points46 points47 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
If she tries to humiliate him over the ring in order to get a more expensive one, she's making it clear that the relationship is defined by him buying her what she feels she is entitled to. Toxic. I hope he broke up with her.

When I was young a had a gf like this...now will never even consider it.
[–]antifeminist37 points8 points9 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Good. Getting red-pilled caused me to see that women get taught this attitude in the media and society. Looking back, I'm surprised I never saw these aspects of 'inequality'. Equality should means equal treatment.
[–]Fantoche_Dreemurr29 points30 points31 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Never forget, a man is nothing but a pile of resources for a woman. Let that sink in. She was humiliating her fucking fiancé because she felt he should have spent more. Nevermind the happy moment. Nevermind the promise. Let's mock him because I feel he should have spent more.

First sentence is dead on.

All the women in the comments who shamed her were almost all much older women in their seventies and eighties. One of them was married 48 years until her husband passed.
I was born in the wrong generation. If I'd been born in the forties, marriage would have meant something then.

Exactly
[–]mtb144319 points20 points21 points 7 years ago* (2 children) | Copy Link
My mother is 73. She has been married to mt Dad for 57 years. One day she asked me why i wasn't married and i explained all the feeling i have about how AWALT gold digging, unfaithful, manipulative etc.
She looked at me and said, "I'm not like that." I didn't know what to say because she was right. She was the stereotypical 50/60s wife. Stay at home take care of kids supper on the table for dad coming home from work.
Women today however... I can't see them settling for that as a life.
EDIT: Mom is 78 not 73
[–]AcrobaticAge2 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
"I'm not like that."
"I know you aren't, but women nowadays aren't like they were in your youth".
That's what I tell my mother whenever she asks me if I'm really sure I don't want to get married.
[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Women today have a baby and then can't even care for it properly. You see them on r/relationships asking how to whip their men in shape. Nevermind that the woman doesn't work, because somehow it's still up to the man to pick up her slack. You wanted the kid, fucking raise it. You got milk in your tits, raise your damned kid.

[–]William_A_Bishop18 points19 points20 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
I like this strategy, if i ever lose my mind and propose to someone im gonna do it using the cheapest ring i can find. Because its symbolic, and any woman who i want to marry should be able to comprehend that.
[–]rromero26[S] 10 points11 points12 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
That's if you lose your mind :-)
[–]Different_Violinist3 points4 points5 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
If it is purely symbolic, they sell plastic rings in coin operated vending machines. See how that turns out.
[–]mustNotTrollOnce 15 points16 points17 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
If you have to give a woman a ring, give her a plastic or candy ring ($1 or less). She will reward you with a moist hole for it because you'll be the humiliating dominator she so desperately wants, not a sniveling simp like 99% of the others.
[–]Toshiba1point011 points12 points13 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
So she said yes and then acted like a complete ass. If he’s smart he will take that as a sign and a blessing....after he takes the ring back to get it “reappraised”
[–]BoskOfPortKar5 points6 points7 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I've been there. Mine had complained about the sapphire being too dark (in 1999) : I had worked one month during summer for that shit.
I should have GTFO...
[–]TyrannicalWill8 points9 points10 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Diamond rings were shilled by the marriage industry to generate profits out of a literal rock with artificial scarcity. Men slave a good portion of their lives to enrich these slimeballs.

Woe is me, my fiance only shops at Tiffany's.
Can only hope this is enough of a red flag for him to stop the wedding before the I do's.
[–]KyleAlex6158 points9 points10 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I didn’t get it at first. I thought “wtf 1700$ for a piece of bent metal with a stone on it” but then i realized she claimed it not to be ENOUGH money. Crazy.
[–]Hellse8 points9 points10 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Someone at work apparently told him that ‘if she makes it all about the ring, then she’s not the girl for you’.
Uh, yeah. I mean you shouldn't get married in today's legal climate and culture anyway, but hot damn if you still marry the broad after she bitches to the internet that you ONLY spent ALMOST 2 FUCKIN' GRAND. Get out; It's downhill from there.
[–]Atrand4 points5 points6 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

[–]Shnook82 6 points7 points8 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
His salary is nearing a 6 figure sum, and he’s usually very generous. Having seen the receipt I know he paid $1674 for it – which is a lot less then what I would have imagined he would have spent on such a significant piece of jewelry.
Women... wanting exorbitant sums spent on something worth 5% of its list price that has no practical value and is purely ornamental.

If there is ever any doubt that a woman loves you, don't worry, they'll make it very clear that they don't.

To give a woman a wedding ring, is for her to tie a knot in your testicles. The end.
[–]skcornivek12 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
You know you don't have your priorities in life straight if you care about getting a $5,000+ rock on your finger to show with your friends. Other more sensible people would rather use that money for a vacation together or something.
[–]SavvyMillennial2 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Someone I know spent 7-8k on an engagement ring. I don't see how that makes sense to spend so much on women. Thats atleast 3 exotic multi-week vacations

Marriage is how men pay for sex in polite society.
[–]balancedben 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
It makes you wonder how many cocks she's had in her before, during, and after being with her fiance. It's not like most women are virgins before marriage anymore and men should've abandoned marriage en mass decades ago. Marriage hasn't been sensible in quite some time.

P anselmo would never by a cunt a ring!
