They didnt fight for a kingdom. They fought for themselves. Tribal, non sedentary groups of men are unstoppable. The celts were semi-nomadic. Their diet was still mostly meat.

Yeah. But this is controversial. Most cucked empires built lots of stuff, always on the backs of men, who were in same way or another brainwashed.

Well a slave is a man that lives is life according to someone elses rules, and does not live according to his natural freedoms. At least this is my definition. Slaves normally dont know they are slaves.
Just because betas are paid in money, that doesnt mean they are not slaves. They are slaves by definition, they just dont know it. Especially if at some point their money is all taken away through divorce, allimony or taxes, or one of the many vices and addictions they have.
So most betas are slaves by definition.

Our primal ancestors always had this freedom, no matter what type of society and whatever it happened they could always walk to greener pastures and thrive from hunting alone.
Even the other day i saw a study that proved there was plenty of animals to hunt in the paleolithic. Meaning you could not run out of food even if you wanted.
If you live in a world where most food is synthetic, most lands are owned, and you cant walk anywhere without answering to someone, or without belonging to a system. If you must work, pay taxes, to survive. I guess that whatever you will do, its not true freedom.

The Roman city state was totally different than the Roman Republic. The Roman Republic was totally different than the multicultural Roman Empire. You must be some nostalgic dude, who cherry picks certain parts of the Roman history and mixes it with othe parts. The Roman Empire was decadent. The Roman Republic was acceptable. But even the Roman Republic had its cycle. At some point it could no longer be a republic, because they degenerated, like all nations do, and they had to become an empire that does whatever to survive and expand.
Needless to say the values of honor and etc were lost at the point, and only naive romans believed they still existed.

This is what you dont understand. In more than 5 centuries of history, Rome changed. A lot. You want to believe they were this static society, but nothing could be further from the truth. They were strong only in the beginning. By the end they could not stand even themselves, with so many civil wars.
Civil wars that started even before Augustus.
The Romans could not deal with a bunch of poor desperate migrants. When a few centuries before they conquered Greece, Gaul, Carthage and Egypt, almost all at the same time.
