My buddy, who is a lawyer, and I were talking about this recently. That dude is in a rough spot not having ever questioned the child's origin. Apparently once you are put on the birth certificate as the father, regardless of the now pending paternity results, courts rarely side with the man conned into being the dad. As my buddy puts it - it isn't good business for judges to go around orphaning kids who legally have a father, regardless of the legitimacy.
