Perhaps one of the reasons why marriages fail is that we never get to actually smell our partners pheromones? Perhaps there are subtle unconscious instincts built in that are being masked by deodorant? What if we should be able to tell that bitch does not smell right and avoid her, but we can't because she smells like "strong enough for a man"

I know I'm not entirely alone in this.

I don't talk about it much, but one of the reasons that I cannot stand being around most women -- especially NEAR, and particular in close "personal space" contact -- with women wearing lots of makeup & such (it invariably also means "perfumed" like crazy; plus lingering soap & shampoo "scent" aftermath, various "hairspray" & other "product" etc)...

Is that the STENCH of that is "bothersome" to me... in a visceral, physical-reaction way. (In fact, I sometimes wonder if I might not be having some kind of actual allergic reaction; I know that strong perfumes/aftershave cause my eyes to water, sinuses to have problems etc).

I myself use "bland" soaps* -- my favorite is the "fragrance free" version of their "original" formula **Kirk's Coco Hardwater Castile* -- which I buy in BULK (technically bought couple of years ago; we're talking a DOUBLE CASE of the shit -- IIRC it was like 96 bars). And the stuff lathers up (especially in hard water) so nicely, rinses off without leaving a "scum" much less "scent" that I use it instead of "shampoo." Actually works pretty good as a shaving cream too.

Now I'm NOT saying that there aren't people with really BAAAAAD stanky BO** -- because there definitely ARE -- what I am saying is that trying to cover that up with (what is to me even STINKIER) "perfumes" and other unnatural smelly crap... isn't any better.

* Some types of "scented" soaps (especially "Zest" & "Irish Spring") cause me to sneeze and even develop a sort of itchy-rash if any of it gets on my skin.

** The worst ones are fat/obese people who literally have a sort of "unhealthy STENCH" around them (and the "deodorants/perfumes" DON'T help; they just ADD to the offense) -- the cause of which I think is actually LESS that they don't "wash" and MORE that they really ARE "unhealthy"; and live in a very UNHEALTHY environment *** (not the least of which is "air conditioned" offices/homes, the A/C units quite often have rather vile "fungal" growths/stink, can't imagine that DOESN'T get into their system, or affect their sweat) -- one that is (in my experience) entirely DIFFERENT from a "healthy" sweat that comes from performing actual work.

*** This is especially notable with their FEET. Good gawd, do some people have NASTY-ASS stinky feet; they take their shoes off and you can smell it across the entire room. That AIN'T "natural" -- people who go barefoot may have dirty soles, but their feet do NOT "stink" -- that foot stink/stench is a direct result of basically "wrapping up" the feet (often while still damp/wet) within the confines of socks/shoes that don't "breathe" (the worst being plastic laden "athletic" shoes).

women do fucking stink once they hit 30-32. who knew the wall comes with a stink bomb as well. but its true. they lose their fertility and the body reacts by giving a smell that men shouldn't fuck there. sure they are still fertile at 32 but its the beginning of the decline and the body slowly ramps up until by age 40 i find most women smell like an old lady. the smart ones cover up with some $200 a bottle Chanel perfume. and still smell ok by cover up. i know a few women that wear natural and patchoulli type shit and are post wall. holy shit they fucking stink.

To be fair, though, most mass-produced, common household hygiene products like Dove, Dial, Oldspice, Degree, etc are all complete fucking shit for your body. There are plenty of healthy, natural alternatives to the petroleum byproduct trash they recycle and fill with fake scents and market at premium prices.
