I work for myself (from home), have most everything delivered, and barely ever venture out in society. I’ve absolutely had it with this world.

I am the other type of man. If society considers me weird, that is fine. I've seen plenty of men who doing what society wants to do, and they do end up having to work many more years because they have so many mouths to feed. My younger brother is trapped in a situation like that.

Why are you people still surprised? The strong at power, who control the world, want only slaves. People are, unfortunately, still mortal, so they need us to make new slaves time after time. But these powerful people can't control EVERYTHING. Like your freedom. They want to, they sure as fuck try to, but they can't. So they're trying to use brainwashing and shame tactics to whip you into doing what they want you to do -- to be a slave. They want you to work and pay taxes, but they don't want you to spend money on yourself -- there's no point in making you happy. Nobody needs that. Nobody cares about you. Instead they want you to find yourself a female, to make a new ~~slave~~ child with her and to spend all your hard-earned money on her and a child, instead of yourself. Naturally, they'd prefer a female to work as well, but biology says a pretty firm "no" here in many cases. Also women are whiny and loud, which makes it easier to just do as they want to shut them up. Men are strong and are able to withstand a lot of shit before finally crumbling. And when they do -- nobody cares! You served your purpose. You're too close to pension by that time anyway and they don't want you to reach it.

So live for yourself. Do what you love to do. Use women if you absolutely have to, but preferably just avoid them. And enjoy life. To spite the fucking society, corporations, governments, everyone who wants you to be a slave.

You know I'm not entirely opposed to the idea of a responsible man (or woman) sacrificing some of their happiness for their family and society.

The issue I have is that all your sacrifice can easily be used against you, and there are no longer any cultural or legal safeguards to encourage people to do "the right thing." Thus the wise man sacrifices nothing for a woman.

This is ironic given that most great inventors/mathematicians/physicists/etc were single at the time of their discoveries/inventions.

A married man has no energy to make great discoveries or build great things, because he is a slave on the female's plantation. Any effort not spent directed towards keeping her happy and in luxury, is met with screeching and derision.

MGTOW makes men realize that they have can live a life without shackles, a real life with meaning and purpose, and not to go gentle into that dark night.
