Want to stay safe? Never go on Twitter or Instagram. Have an FB account but make it dead with nothing on it. (people find not having any social media creepy). Stick to encrypted messaging apps. Telegram, Whatsapp, Signal - different people will use different apps. Messenger has an encrypted version now too.

If you want to continue using social media, then make sure that you have anonymous accounts that can't easily be identified to you. Also, use Brave Browser and through Brave, use Tor.
