Look, what's a pat on the head from a gurl worth to you? Ok, what about the next guy you see? What about the guy after him? What's a baby worth to you? What about the next guy? ...and so on. Here is a quick analysis i have posted before:

DO NOT GET MARRIED!
Lets assume a 60% divorce rate and for the 30% that dont only 1 in 6 are actually happily married.
This means Marriage has an expected payout of -30%(50% loss 60% of the time)
You would never enter a bet/contract where the average expected payout is that bad. Why would you with marriage? Oh yeah, your relationship with her is better than everyone else! Hah!
For the 30% that dont get married, only 1 in 6 are truly happy
This means for every 100 marriages
60 end in divorce and most likely a 50% loss for the man plus alimony/child support
30 stay married but
25 of those are unhappy and
only 5 are happy
So basically 95% end up in some form of hell and only 5% end up happy. This statistical analysis shows how REALLY BAD marriage is for the man.

Not even sure what ROI on a woman would even look, tbh. I guess lots of sex after the wedding, cooking skills, cleaning skills, zero infidelity and maybe other stuff. There was a considerable value proposition in getting married back in, like, 1955 or something. Because there had to be. But actual ROI... that's a rly good point, dude.

In the strict sense you have relationships of different types of people all the time. I've found long term fwb type "relationships" to be very beneficial to me. Sex when/if I want it, someone to hike, paddleboard etc.

But long term deep relationships with women...no way. Then inevitably you get dragged into their lives and their lives are.....chaos and drama. Kid issues, ex issues, work issues. The list is long. I've never met a woman who didn't at least have one of these going on at any one time. Some all three all the time. Whereas, for many years raising my daughters I still had none of them. At all.

Job...good.

Daughters...fine.

Ex-wife issues....minimal to none.

And like you say the spending done by women is mostly just stupid. Every women I've known for years buys constantly off Instagram. Last month I bought a Clubbell. That's it except for groceries. My kids are grown and I rent half a house and travel. So I have plenty to spend but there just isn't much I need. Every women close to my age (50) is STILL spending constantly. Most are remodeling their homes and without a man to finance it are taking on big debt to do it. It never ends. I imagine at 70 they will be doing the same thing.
