I think he kind of explains it in an interview on YouTube with Entrepreneurs In Cars. He's older GenX. MGTOW was not really a thing back then and society expected you to get married. Still, from what I hear the advice is good and he's well respected in the "Manosphere" despite the marriage. Divorces are financially devastating so he may be 'stuck' so to speak, but that's just a guess.

He's one of the founding fathers of TRP, which started out as a more "empirical", fact-based branch of PUA. We just took the principles they (re)discovered to their logical conclusion, which they vehemently reject for emotional reasons.

No, you’re all wrong. He believes he can “out-alpha”marriage. He claims he is the big dog in his relationship and that his wife is subservient.

Also the guy is a PUA and makes money selling PUA books and doing coaching. It’s funny how you notice in 5 chapters he points out how women are all trash and assholes and then the next chapter is how you should always be approaching and bringing new women into your life. It’s because if he were to advice men to mgtow monk, there’d be no incentive to buy his future books or attend his seminars or coaching.

Personally I cannot takehim seriously since he’s married, although his advice and knowledge on women seems sound. It’s another bill burr situation where marriage has caused the man to lose all credibility.

I think he got married before taking the Red Pill. But even so, you put a good point. You can derive knowledge from many but it's best to practice what you preach.

I don't take him, any legally government contract married man, children, women in general, puas, dating coaches or pump and dumpers seriously at all.

They all have the same pattern of issues and problems.

Which is mainly hypocrisy. Fuck his dating advice. His books. His interviews. I will never listen to him or read his bullshit "how to fuck the woman of your dream fast" bullshit.

Men generally get married (if they are not pressured into it) because they are either ignorant, arrogant, or scared. He's just doing it to prove it to himself. No different that Prince Harry refusing to get a prenup. He's arrogant and wanting to prove it to himself.

He knows the risk, but he lives life the way he chooses to. Mgtow is one of a few philosophies on how men should move forward in today’s society. Is it the safest? By far and without a doubt the safest.

Some of us had children already before we found the Red Pill, others were already married and the relationship was getting stale “Aka,” she was ready to move on. Either way the men here have looked for these teachings one way or another.

Would I have liked to have found these teachings sooner in life? Heck yes I would have but I’m grateful to at least found it at all. Think of all the men who are still willingly throwing themselves on the sword.

I read a lot of "The Rationale Male" when I first started following this MGTOW group. I found it to be a really good book for understanding my past dating and romantic relationship experiences. I think that it was the first book that I ever got that was meant for the men's community online.

This book is gold compared to the mainstream dating books that I read before -- those were full of false optimism and empty hopes.

Now, some would argue that the dating advice provided in books like "The Rationale Male" doesn't work very well either; however, I do feel like he is being far more honest in describing the real dating world -- I didn't read the entire book, and I don't think I agreed with all of his ideas, nor always how he expressed his ideas. However, a lot of his ideas did a really good job of explaining my dating experiences, and I thought the book wasn't afraid to discuss disappointing parts of the dating world.

As far as if he is married -- I wouldn't get too stuck on that point. Some guys believe that they have a strategy which allows them to get around risks and difficulties associated with marriage. Maybe that would be his reason, but I don't really know.

Whatever the situation is, that doesn't mean that you can't take, from his book, whatever ideas make sense to you. Would you not listen to a doctor, for example, just because he/she is married?

This whole sub had some ideological holes. We are alive due to women, but this sub doesn't like them. They have mothers that many of red pillers care for, but see women as immoral.

Having children can be an incredible source of meaning in life. I think it's important to see women as they are, but learn to be highly competent lead by competence and strength. Not to abuse male dominance and become tyrannical.

If everyone bought into the mgtow or red pill Theory, the human species would not exist.
