My experience with single bitches is not a cage...they just let the fuckers do whatever they want to do so they don't actually have to raise them. She said "you have to pick your fights." funny story:

I went on a trip with my dog. I visited many friends. I brought his dog crate along so that he would have a home wherever we were. His crate had a nice fitted cover as well. My pattern upon arriving at a new place was to first go set up his crate in whatever room I'd be staying in, then go get my dog and show him his crate, all set up and ready for him.

Invariably, when I got the dog to the crate, all of the children in the house who were small enough would already be in it.
