I hate that show. I liked it at first but then it just became a main strain nerd culture ruining tv show. I watched for for 7 years but then just had to stop. At first I enjoyed it but then the characters became too mainstream in their own show. I liked the idea of 4 nerdy guys against the world. In terms of growth it would have been really cool if Leonard realized Penny was a terrible choice for a girlfriend after they started dating. He should have had a realization that just because she looks pretty doesn't mean they are compatible. Freaks and Geeks did that great when Sam finally started dating Cindy. He realized that despite her being the most beautiful girl in school and a cheerleader she was actually boring when he started dating her and he is the one who broke it off.

Check out the IT Crowd, they show the nerds in a good light. They can actually be pretty badass at times. Make sure it's the British version though. They tried it in the US and it was just awful.

Can't find the US pilot anywhere. Care to tell us what was so awful about it? :)
It was almost line for line and scene for scene like the British version but with a less likable, less funny cast of bad actors. I think it only went for one short season.

Big Bang Theory got some genuine laughs out of me, I'll admit, but I stopped watching after the 5th season. It was fun when Penny was the only girl, but it seems like the recurring theme throughout the whole show was her and Leonard's will-they-won't-they back and forth.
Though, from what I heard, as the first one to get married, Howard was also the first to experience the woes of married life firsthand, heh, heh, so maybe there was some truth to it all in the end.
The hinted at some development for Sheldon at the end of the....I don't remember, which season, where his friends were all "moving ahead" in life and the change wasn't something he was comfortable with and decided to leave in order to clear his head. But of course, he was back shortly after the next season began.

You know at first i did kind of enjoy that show but honestly it started taking the piss. It basically started trying to appeal to the wahmenz. The relationships in that show were totally unrealistic. No way in hell would Penny ever date Leonard and frankly Leonard having sex with her is basically akin to bestiality. About the only relationship that made sense to some extent was Wallowitz and Bernadette because she is just like his mother. I don't get why they had to bring all that shit in to it though. I mean its almost an allegory for any kind of hobby or geek culture where women and normies come in and take over and ruin it.

I feel like the best cure to get rid of femininity in men and become more masculine is to do full body training 3 times per week, ever since I started I feel a lot less needy and a lot more focused on my goals, but I was never a simp to begin with. Then again, it makes sense, you would never see a muscular ripped guy who is successful in life and simping. The biggest simps are almost always low value on the dating market because they have nothing going on in their life, many of them are very fat or very skinny. If they got fit, maybe they would stop simping, I think there may be a correlation.

I do I modified version of Starting Strength where I squat, bench press and overhead press 3 times per week (every workout instead of every other workout). I deadlift 1 set of 5 reps and do barbell rows for 3 sets of 5 every other workout. I also do 1 set of 20 weighted crunches at the end of each workout which helps to build a strong core (six pack abs) which helps a lot in my compound movements. And I also do 2 sets of 8 reps of barbell curls and 1 set of 20 face pulls. I got the program from Jason Blaha and it works really well and I make much faster progress than I would on starting strength and I can recover easily too.
