You can't just "collect welfare", like it's something you can go sign up for (at least in the US).
You either have to be old, disabled, be an ex military veteran, or have kids.
You can get unemployment for a while but that eventually goes away. Women go on welfare all the time (using their children to do it) but if you're a guy there really isn't any way to get free money from the government.

The definition of disabled is so loose you might as well. For example, video game addiction (but not smartphone addiction) is considered a disability. How are those new releases looking?
Or you know, just identify as a woman. That's the biggest and most permanent disability anyone can have.

It depends.
Not everything that is medically considered a disability will get you income from the government.
In some states, extreme depression can be considered a disability (for the purposes of getting money from the government), but you're definitely exaggerating how easy it is to get it.
In reality, it's just about the opposite -- a lot of people who are legitimately disabled spend years going to court trying to "prove" their disability in a legal sense.
That's not to say that it can't be gamed and that there aren't people abusing it, but it's still not true that it's easy enough that you can just go "sign up" (plus the benefits for non veterans won't get you anything -- I think you only receive around $700 a month for disability... The real money comes from having been in the military at some point).

I mean this already happens. All taxes fall disproportionately on men (and single men more than married) and all benefit programs accrue disproportionately to women. Without exception.

Yeah he's a vietnam vet with a jacked up arm and back. After 6 hours of nonstop hard work I said I was going to take a break because my back was starting to hurt and shaking with pain and anger he said "I'm no pussy." I think he has made poor financial choices in life and is now forced to work to keep up the lifestyle creep he and his wife have gotten used to. Also, his wife is good looking and younger so he has to do this to keep her around.
I've decided my health and well-being is my priority and boy it sure is pissing every older person off.
