This used to legit puzzle me. Especially when some of the chicks I knew were working at minimum wage jobs at retailers but then every week they would be in Cancun flexing in Instagram. I remember thinking how the hell is she funding these trips when we work the same job and positions? Not always the case. I have 2 hippie friends that do big trips every year, but they work while traveling or join European Voluntary Services (EVS).

However, my ex is also always traveling and she is a fucking hoe. Single mom working to pay for her university (got a loan) and somehow she always has new clothes, good phones and travels every year.

A lot of them are also racking up a ton of debt. From my experience, the ones travelling a ton fall into 1 of 3 categories.

The first is as described in the pic. No need for a further explanation there.

The second are waitresses. It's a job you can take tons of time off or simply quit and find a new one when youre back fairly easily, at least, when you have experience. Arouns where I live anyways. They generally live the party life even when not travelling and it's usually confusing how they afford it and travelling. Most of it is tips, racking up credit cards and also milking their parents.

The third is the college girl who uses her student loan like its income. I know a TON of women that booked massive trips every summer as soon as they found out how much money they got through a student loan. Then, when they get out of school, the degree they took usually gives a low paying job and theyre stuck with a massive amount of debt. For example, knew two girls in the same nursing program. One went hard at the program and worked two jobs in the summer and came out with about 40k in debt. The other, never worked at all and travelled for 3-4 months in between years and came out with 80k debt.

They all have a few things in common. They usually live the party lifestyle, they receive lots of money from parents and theyre usually in a mountain of debt which they seemingly dont care about. They also tend to work low end jobs. High end jobs require a higher time commitment and generally have less flexibility for holidays and time off. This is why these women are waitresses or simply work part time or casual.
