Lol what are u talking about. There were LOTS of feminist bs in it.
Spoilers: 1)The bad guy tells her that she has to control her emotions and not let it get the better of her. In the end, she lets emotion take over and she "wins", basically saying that the common trait of women acting on emotions is right(this is an argument thats common between men and women with men telling women they're too emotional most of the time...you see my point).
2) When the black woman gets called "young lady", she gets super offended lmao... What about all the times the men were belittled? No uproar for that?
3) There were so many gillete moments in the movie. If you watched it, you will understand what I mean.
4) When fury gets scanned and identified as "human male", he was classed as low to none threat level. The whole theater laughed. Laughing at men have become the go-to comedy now in so many mainstream movies.
I wanted to keep an open mind so I gave this movie a chance. Walked out realising there's no hope anymore. We have to let this disease of feminism run its course now. I'll just sit back and watch everything implode lol

It's a Marvel movie so I figured it would be pretty good, but nothing groundbreaking.
They have a set forumla for their movies and it works the majority of the time, but you know what you're getting. They're not going to take risks with that much money involved.
Which, honestly, I don't mind. I like knowing that if I sit down to watch a Marvel movie I'll have a pretty good time. Sometimes they hit it out of the park, sometimes it's a bit of a let down, but they're rarely terrible these days.

Not sure if I am going to see it, but so far it is actually getting pretty average to poor reviews.
If you ignore the trolls on the right calling it 1/10 and the trolls on the left calling it a 10/10, it looks like the movie is about a 6.5/10
Definitely seems to be one of the less popular marvel movies from what we are hearing now but we will see.
I absolutely love Marvel but have dealt with sexism against men A LOT in the last couple years personally. Been pointing it out to my GF and now she hates feminism more than I do.

I watched Captain Marvel (streamed cam footage). The movie was kind of mediocre, like Thor 1. The Kree scenes were boring. Every scene with Fury was great. The Skrulls were great and not what I was expecting.
I'd give it a 6/10. Entertaining but not a must-see.
Also, not crapping on it because of Larson's comments or as a response to any perceived agenda the marketing may have pushed. I've never been invested in any of Captain Marvel's iterations in my 30'ish years of reading comics. Nor was I with Guardians, so I didn't even see the first GoG until well over a year after release.
Ant-Man & Black Panther were more obscure characters, but I was more invested in them due to their importance to the Marvel comic universe (Pym created Ultron and is a major scientific contributor, Black Panther/Wakanda being the source of vibranium in the world - I'm a huge Captain America fan so vibranium's importance with his shield being a vibranium alloy).

Reviews I saw that focused on the lore perspective noticed it retcons the comics to fit their narrative. Whoever made this movie doesn't care about making good movies or the future success of the MCU.
I'm obviously not wasting my time and money on this movie and as much I wanted to see Endgame I'll wait for spoilers to know it wasn't destroy by political agendas.
