TheRedArchive exists so that this writing cannot quietly disappear. Deleted accounts, banned subreddits, blogs long since offline — much of what is archived here survives nowhere else.
Preserving it is not free. The servers, the storage and the bandwidth come out of my own pocket, and the bill grows every month the archive does.
If you believe this record should still be here for whoever comes looking in twenty years, you can help keep it online.

It's the perspective that I'm focused on.
In the real matrix (the real world), we've been fed lies, forced to assume our traditional gender roles and generally used to extract resources by the "higher ups" (much like humans in the movie are used to extract energy for batteries by the machines).
In the real matrix, we now have a group of people (reddit, blogs, youtube channels, etc) who give us a choice to "unplug" from the matrix or take the red pill to see the matrix for the prison it is and strive for a better life more focused on ourselves than producing batteries.
Of course not everyone is able to swallow the red pill, even if they were spoon-fed it like Cypher (just look at r/exredpill and r/thebluepill). Some people just don't want to believe they were living a lie and do their best to ignore the truth or vehemently fight against it to appease their delusions.
That's as far as the similarities go between the real matrix and the movie matrix, the people that made this trilogy probably didn't have all this on mind when they made it. I'd imagine they just wanted it to sell, and what better way to do that than follow all the "women are more competent than men" and all the romance clichés?

I can see where you're coming from but the way I see it, they're pulling the common "women are more competent than men" theme. Hollywood has to either portray women as damsels in distress saved by prince charming to satisfy the fantasy of the female and white knight viewer or make the women invincible badasses to boost the self-esteem of female viewers and captivate the male viewers with sexy tight-ass leather.
All these clichés are really making it hard to find an enjoyable movie to watch. Good movies are out there but for someone that gets nauseated at the sight of romance, that throws about 90% of the movies down the drain.
