I don't think this is accurate, although it depends on the particular place/study, it's usually 90 to 95% of homeless people that are male.

It is striking how we can get taken in by headlines and figures and stats, depending on how they are presented.

Using the principle of positive discrimination, I can't do the maths so, if there are 10000 homeless people - 7500 plus are men. So we need to find another 2500 women who live in a house preferably those that might use twitter and throw them out on their arse to balance it up. I think it is fair as male BBC journalists and reporters are cutting their salaries to level the playing field.
