Yeah I noticed that too. Women now consider "female" a pejorative term... but "women" has also been considered demeaning (hence some feminists making up 'womyn'), and so has "lady"... so what the fuck do we call them if one is to be politically correct? Yes, certainly! Men can have civil discussions, and I’ve certainly been wrong many times before. Allow me to explain my concern.
If it causes no harm, then I agree. However, the human heart is a difficult matter; it consists of a series of neurological functions that are not conscious in nature, and of a series of endocrine responses that affect thought processes, all of which are turned to the act of making two human beings compatible long enough to reproduce. Reproduction is more important to life than continuation, so these mechanisms are capable of overriding even survival instincts. By attempting to focus these impulses, which are designed to rewrite our personalities and to take our focus outside of ourselves, on something that is not even alive and whose ‘personality’ consists only of our own imaginations, we are effectively short-circuiting the most powerful hardware in the human brain.
If it stays in the realm of harmless fantasy, then there is nothing interesting to see; it is a harmless past-time, like a video game, and in the absence of functional impairment, I would concede that there is nothing to be concerned with. However, for those who are socially isolated, emotionally fragile, on the autistic spectrum, or simply overly stressed by the experience of being an unattractive male in a gynocentric society, this provides one more stumbling block to human development. Teenagers have enough trouble adapting to the awakening of sexual and romantic needs as it is, and I have already seen too many young men develop an unhealthy obsession with these figures to the exclusion of personal development and, God help us, social skills and basic hygiene.
I believe that MGTOW philosophy and community aught to focus on preparing young men to thrive by inheriting the legacy of the men who came before them; art, craftsmanship, culture, professional success, the skills a young man needs to discern and pursue his own way apart from gynocentrism. A pillow or poster with an anime character on it, even if harmless, is difficult to conceive of as a contribution.

Agree on the neurological response to sex, what you mention is true. The skills a young man need to develop as I see, could be learned far easier with empty balls. As a tool to relieve themselves and be able to focus on that maths exam could have been a great asset. Lets be honest here.
