Men allow themselves to get friendzoned. There is one simple way to avoid being friendzoned: be prepared to walk away, and actually follow through on it.

If I want to fuck a woman and she isn't interested, I move on. I don't hang around, waste time, and hope she'll change her mind. I won't be the "nice guy". Being friends with someone because you have an ulterior motive is a really shitty thing to do anyway.

And never once have I gotten rejected and given the "let's be friends" spiel, and it be a legitimate offer of friendship. When people are friends like this, it's almost never a real, balanced friendship.

i remember in high school i had a buddy who was an orbiter with this chick all through high school. he stopped skiing one day to rush out and help her with car trouble. i made a move on her and rounded the bases with ZERO effort, just to prove the theory in high school that being a nice guy means nothing and women will go for a jerk.
