Hello fellow MGTOW,

I am 22 years old, and graduated in 2018. I have a Bachelor in Industrial Engineering, and have been working as an engineer for a little over a year now.

I just quit my job (don't worry, I have spare cash), because it was litterally destroying my soul. I endured sleeplessness, Hair loss, no motivation and so much stress that I could'nt even workout anymore. I don't like working for a company in which I slave away and make money for people I will never see. I am just there, without creating anything meaningfull.

I Just came to the realisation that I spend a total of 5 years of high school and 4 years of university to get a job which was supposed to make me happy. The whole 9 years were miserable, but I just kept on studying to finally achieve 'happiness'.

I am a rational person, so listening to my 'feelings' is hard. But now my feelings tell me to do what I love, even though it would mean making less money in the short run and reaching financial independence later.

I listened to my heart, and wrote down the things which I have allot of interest in. Its mainly based on helping and coaching people. My current plan to go my own way is as follows:

First of all, I will start another job. A man got to eat, pay bills and invest his money into assets. This job could also be in the field of Engineering, but with less stressors. Simultaneously I want to start courses on several subject:

  • Shamanism( I am spiritual) or Mindfulness and CBT

  • Personal training and nutritionist (help people lose weight and/or gain muscle)

  • Budgeting and financial indepence coach (Just like many MGTOW's I am investing as much as I can, to eventually be financial independent)

  • Teaching people how to be disciplined and have goals and work ethic.

The courses of each individual subject could take 0-3 to achieve. Now I have no idea how to work towards a business in which I teach those 4 subjects or on how to combine them.

I would like to ask MGTOW's with their own business or whom where in the same situation as me, on how to achieve being your own boss.
