I don't think there are many people here who would dispute the fact that there are women who possess those traits (although in this age of affirmative action, a woman's academic and professional accomplishments should not be taken at face value). But the response did not suggest otherwise... it was merely a comment on what a no-longer-beautiful woman has to offer. [Edit: a corollary to the original question might be to ask, "Of what utility is former beauty?" With the exception of "wife goggles," the obvious answer is, "Not very much."]
Think of a beautiful young woman the same way you'd think of an elite male athlete. Once he's no longer able to play, do the fans still pay to watch him? Of course not... because in that context, he's no longer useful. He may be able to become a commentator or a coach, just as a formerly-beautiful woman can be a mentor and truth-teller to young women (nobody knows the wall more intimately than a former beauty queen), but - with regard to her former beauty - what does she have "to offer" beyond that?
[Edit 2: Back in my flying days we had a saying, "The three most useless things to a pilot are altitude above you, runway behind you, and fuel on the ground." But there's a subtlety to that, because when you're taking off, it's the runway behind you that allowed you to get to the speed you're going. Likewise, the youthful beauty of a woman who no longer possesses it may have allowed her to currently be a lot farther ahead in life than she would be had she not been beautiful in the past. Let's face it: the world bends over backwards for both women and beautiful people, with beautiful women being the most fawned-over group of people of all. An older woman who is in an advantageous position was - in all probability - an attractive younger woman, and her current position of advantage was made possible because of the help that not all women - and virtually no men - received.]

As I wrote in my first-ever post a couple of weeks ago when I re-activated my Reddit account, I'm a "MGTOW ally [Edit: advocate]" rather than a MGTOW, since I'm married (different time and very different sub-culture), and my wife of 30 years has proven to be one of the very few true unicorns (don't try this at home, gents - I was fortunate).
Until our wedding night my wife was a 20-year-old virgin with a strong religious background that stressed chastity, and she grew up in a home with a strong father (who used to be a total Chad before he settled down with her mother - my wife has numerous half-siblings dating from her father's "sowing his wild oats" days). She was also a cheerleader in high school and was probably a hard 8 when we were dating. That was a long time ago, and I would be lying if I said that either of us looks like we do in our wedding pictures, but when I look at her I still find her attractive. Granted, she keeps herself in pretty good shape, but she's 50 now no matter what. Yet... I still "see" her largely as the girl I met all those years ago. So... yeah... "wife goggles" can be a very good thing. It certainly helps that she's been unflinchingly supportive of me the entire time despite some pretty tough breaks in my career.
But I think the point the "responder" was trying to make was not literally that an older woman ceases to have any value at all, but that the beauty of a beautiful young woman is her most important man-catching asset, and any beauty that she no longer possesses makes her just like any other unattractive woman. Since the greatest thing that women (in general) offer to men (in general) is their youth, beauty, and fertility, (although I would disagree - none of that means anything if she's disloyal, disrespectful, or lacks virtue) they become like former great athletes... they may be great guys on the individual level and their former prowess may allow them to help younger athletes, but to the fans (as a group), they no longer have the skills to earn money on the field.
Objectively false? Stereotypes and generalizations are based in reality. An ugly woman with a worthless degree, shitty personality, and meat curtains between her legs is of no fucking use to anyone. And yet, they still demand respect and equal treatment, supposedly because they possess such great 'character' or 'emotional intelligence' or whatever. No one gives nearly as much of a shit about deadbeat men. Homeless veterans get less attention than these circlefingering thots. But a woman with nothing to offer but her depreciating looks? Put her on a pedestal and serve.
