I can answer in the order asked. I see no harm in personal answers.

This sub is centered mostly around the idea of men living the way they want to live. With stories, memes, advice, news, and more all giving pieces of information that men or anyone can use to decide how they want to live.

I don't hate women for existing. That's stupid. I think that most women today are not worth the effort and risk of dating, so I don't associate with them.

My going my own way is finding a job I enjoy, making more money than I need to live comfortably, and being able to spend it however I want to.

Feminists are hurting society, and men's rights activists are right, but they are not effective.

I have male and female friends, but more male really.

I base my belief more on research and observable reality.

I'm a male, so I can't answer.

GYOW means pursing what makes you happy and not marrying or cohabitating
Feminist are out of control nowadays. They are all about rules for thee and not for me. MRA is actively fighting those.
I have 1 female friend whos more of a bro if anything. We both are not attracted to each other so its mutally works out.
I base my beliefs on experience and in depth anylasis of research that related to my experience.

Good luck on the paper. Other people are being a dick in this sub. But what others dont realize it the spread of the information is vital.

I think the best way to learn is to read links on the sidebar and read through some posts everyday for awhile. That's how proper research is done. Asking us directly presents a lot of conflicts of interests and bias. Even if we are totally objective, honest, and rational in answering your questions, you need to draw your own conclusions for your paper.

For reference, I’m a female student writing a research paper on men and their gender roles in society. I wish to learn and not criticize, so I hope it’s ok if I ask a few questions.

Again? You people seriously go after the strangest things to write about. Also, I do notice you had to include your gender to try and regain privilege, you know it won't work here right?

Let me help you out, everyone knows it's a hit piece, you're like the 100^th person this year. I recommend you do what everyone else does. Just makes it all up, cherry picks content, quote mines, etc. It's way easier and it's all fiction anyway.

Feminists are very low intelligence women primarily traveling ugly and fat ones as being more easy to fall prey to their little suspense tail attempting to migrate the marxist oppressor/oppression matrix to women, which is ridiculous. At this point it's devolved into a racist, elitist, religious hate cult.

MRA is mostly nothing, they accomplish little and can accomplish little, unless feminism already wants it or it doesn't matter.

Do you have any positive female friends/role models in your life? Positive male ones?

Nope, I have friends all across the gender spectrum, including a couple trannies, dyke or two, one of my bartenders is gay and wears a MAGA hat, even a feminist who is a domestic violence advocate at a secret location.

Positive? They're entertaining, that's about it. Negative? Nope, I don't hang around negative people. That's the thing women do. You know how women's life choices makes every past partner abusive? I don't do that.

Everyone is a bit different. The general idea here is 'ladies bad', but that can mean a lot of things. From what I have witnessed the majority of us still date casually, but they are shorter term relationships because the woman eventually figures out eventually that you will never move in together, let alone get married. others only do flings / hook ups. Others avoid women outside of friendships. Others avoid them altogether (though in my experience from here it is /mostly/ men who struggled to even get dates or sex before due to a combination of personality and looks.

All in all, it is a bit diverse. WE even have married men and house husbands who post. The whole idea is that you are just rejecting the mainstream idea that we are supposed ot be working to prove ourselves to women, then marry them, becuase divorce ultimately leads to a man suffering.

I prefer company with my two cats over human interaction. I do belong to a secret society. I did graduate from college. I live alone with two cats. Love nature. I donate to charities, mostly environmental charities. I used to have a political career. My goal is to relocate to Eastern Europe. Where I can truly start over.

This sub is WARNING men about the REAL, LEGAL, and FINANCIAL risks that "COULD" happen, and statistically WILL happen with a high probability if a man involves himself with women, especially STATE sanctioned involvement, as in marriage/co-habitation. It's not that ALL women WILL use the laws to ruin a man, it's that "ANY" woman CAN, at any time, on any whim, out of boredom, or for no real reason at all. This means that ALL women are a RISK that is impossible to predict, or control, and the consequences are so dire to his well being, that many men commit suicide over these events. It's a logical EMOTIONLESS risk vs reward analysis. After that it's about helping men stay strong in their own path, like a recovering alcoholic, this sub is like an online A.A. meeting. Then searching out what HE wants to do with his own life, NOT what's expected of him by society, or women trying to ASSIGN him a "GENDER ROLE" that for the most part fits what THEY want FROM him. Fitness, wealth management, hobbies, travel, food, literature, adventure, minimalism, and more are all things spoken of here. It's for each man as an INDIVIDUAL to live out, as there is no group, or gatherings, just online discussions.
