I love WH40K lore and I am really worried about the latest development. Virtue signaling and pandering to minorities by themselves are nothing too concerning. But they have been signs of decline for too many beloved franchises already. Next step are diversity hires in the writing team and Mary Sue characters galore in the lore. Nothing is safe from the feminist diarrhea.

If you want to make a chapter of female space marines THAT badly, make em chaos marines under Slanesh. It would make perfect sense - The only all-female space marine chapter corrupted by Chaos. Thats why there are no others.

Oh man. almost forgot how much of my childhood was spent having big battles in the weekends with a few buddies . Was awesome cause in my small town there was 3 of us close friends.. a girls older brother showed us and his friend collected . So we had 5 people lol.. would take hours lol.. but we were also noobs that just sorta tried to balance teams and not get into counting points

While I've never played Warhammer, I played a lot of RPGs in my younger days. There was one, overriding rule: HAVE FUN! If someone's playing a campaign and wants female astartes, then play female astartes. There's no reason to demand that the publisher included them in the lore. Have your fun and let everyone else enjoy themselves, as well.

I would love to see an accurate poll of how many 40K fans ACTUALLY want to see female Astartes vs. how many are just orbiters who know barely anything and are just trying to insert women into an all-male organization, even though it's fictitious and one that isn't exactly a pleasant one to be in.

Like most 'woke' shit these days, my guess is that virtually none of the 40K loyalists actually care, and that it's all wokescolds who wouldn't play even if women were included in the Astartes; no company should have to capitulate its core thesis on account of a literal handful of people who probably don't even play.

Given the circumstances, the Imperium of Man is possibly THE most egalitarian society in sci-fi, in that everyone is equally worthless. Men and women serve equally in the manufactorums and other production facilities, men and women serve equally in the Guard and the Navy, and as many in the post have already stated, you've got the Sisters of Battle, which are second ONLY to the Astartes because they can't receive the geneseed on account of being female, and they'd DIE if they did. In some ways, the Sisters are even more impressive than the Astartes because their abilities are 100% merit with no alterations whatsoever. It's literally a testament to what feminists claim to want, it's just that you need the Astartes to handle the really bad shit that can and does happen all the time in the grimdark of the 41st millennium.
