Last ex I had was obese girl with pretty face. I liked much talking with her, she was redpilled and hanging out with her required almost no effort. I figured it out that maybe if I settle for less and sacrifice happiness in bed then I might get happiness in life with trustworthy girl I like to hang out.
After 5 months I discovered that she started talking with her ex for more than a month (she gave me no signs). I broke up with her and she goes that she hated talking with me, she never loved me, she hated my friends and she knows that it is her fault and she feels bad, yet she is ok with me breaking up with her. She also wished that I would remain with her as a friend and that I wouldn't talk with her ex.
The best (or worst) thing is she used to laugh on this ex as he was pathological liar. She only had long-term relationship with him and she never met him. He promised her countless things and he never delivered. He also cheated on her and was pretty open with that. Sometimes he went into so much ghost mode (usually after something he again haven't delivered) that even his family and friends were concerned about him. He also lost most of his teeth at his twenties and still he haven't got denture or implants for years.
I realized that it was never about me and I was just to good for her. It hurt me so bad to end up worse than such low-life scumbag, but the worst thing for me was that I haven't seen it coming at all. I really trusted her untill this and thanks to her I stopped to trust all of the woman. They are all liars, but some are worse and some are better at this.

Because they pretty much can, but they don't realize that it will fade. "Youth is wasted on the young." is an adage that applies to males, but it applies doubly to females. Young women used to have the guidance of older women to tell them "this is a good man, you should settle down with him". There used to be a social stigma against getting divorced and/or being a single mom (widows excluded). Stepping away from all those things because they were "oppressive" has resulted in what is now multiple generations of women that have screwed their lives up, or are going to screw their lives up. The older women are now doubling down with their "where are all the good men" articles even as they spend another unfulfilled night with their wine and cats. Sometimes I see women on FB asking if they're just unlovable, but never really trying to break down their behaviors and adjust accordingly, and even IF they almost have a moment of clarity, everyone else just pats them on the head, tells them they're perfect or beautiful, or whatever so they never end up changing. Imagine if I were 300 lbs, ate chocolate cake every day for my meals, and when I voiced my frustrations online, everyone told me that I was totally fine and perfect and I don't need to change a thing, whilst simultaneously any actual dieting and exercise advice was hidden away in small corners of the internet that everyone else considered "hate speech" or "body shaming" or whatever. I'd probably have a pretty hard time breaking my shitty habits if since I was a small child the entire world had just been enabling me.
Don't get me wrong, a woman is absolutely responsible for her own decisions, like a fat person is responsible for their own weight. It's just that I understand how difficult it would be to not end up fat if everyone around you was constantly saying cookies were healthy for you, so I understand that without any guidance or accountability and advice like the above, how easy it is for women to end up in the land of "single with cats and wine".

To an extent.
I think that most children are generally pretty selfish, solipsistic, etc. Sure you find some kids that just seem born rather considerate, but that seems to be the exception, and even those kids will have times where they're throwing a tantrum or whatever. The thing is that most guys don't get to keep indulging in such behavior without rather severe consequences. Sure there are exceptions, but when you're a man, you generally HAVE to grow at least to a certain point or else you will constantly be getting into fights, land in jail/prison, won't hold down a job, etc. Lots of guys would willingly shirk responsibility if society let them get away with it (see people that pull the race card all the time), but by and large, men can't. On the other hand, you can read about some woman that stabbed her boyfriend 17 times and people are falling all over themselves "because he must have done something to deserve it".
Some people will behave well because that is in their nature to do so. They will behave altruistically because they think it's the right thing to do, they will avoid doing wrongs even when they think no one is watching them. Most other people will bump around in life and only do as much good and avoid as much bad as is "required" by the feedback they get from their surroundings. And yeah, these groups overlap; some people might never cheat on a spouse, but might not think much about petty theft at a walmart or pirating movies, or whatever.
Ultimately my point is that what society expects out of men is much higher, with much steeper consequence whereas women are just constantly excused or enabled. Boys are being told "sink or swim" and then thrown in the deep end, whereas girls are given flotation devices. Men therefore either sink or swim; most of the girls don't learn how to swim, because they don't have to. We don't even expect them to tread water any more.

Actually, as surprising as this will sound, I think her advice is good. When a woman "settles" (and how many of us realized too late we are what she "settled" for) she will immediately start looking for her next branch (Chad) to grab ahold of.
