Because society have no leverage on single man - you have no family, no children, you can move anywhere at any time and do whatever you want. They can't use you, they can't brainwash you unless you let them, they can't manipulate you. Nothing.

You are dangerous to society because if more men see the way you live, they would lose more men to the bachelor life, and then they can't force you to work 80 hours a week for your family that isn't grateful for what you do for them anyway.

They hate single men because single men won't conform to the lifestyle that most allows for the easy and efficient operation of society's resource extraction mechanisms.

Single men are also much less likely to be invested in any type of group identity. This makes them far less susceptible to coercion, and also makes their actions and motivations much more difficult to predict (and control).

Remember, it is the herd animals that are always the easiest to lead to the slaughterhouse.

Government doesn’t like single men because they many times become violent and revolutionary, which is precisely why they prefer their armies filled with single men.

Officers, nah, you want them civilized. Grunts? Nope, you want them young, dumb, and full of cum to go die for money.

The average age in the Vietnam war was 19 for a reason.

Domestically, you want men domesticated that means a wife and kids, because then he’s neutered and won’t make waves, because now he had all these responsibilities he didn’t want.

And that’s what women are for. Domesticating men so they won’t upset power structures.

That’s why society (and government) hates single men. Single men have freedom and options.

Those two things terrify most people, all married men, and government.

Single men, without families, are far harder to control. They do not produce an over abundance which is spent on or by others for purposes the man has no say in. They can live on their own terms for their own happiness.

It's been said, but single men are less likely to pay into the system. They pay taxes, sure, but that's about it. No childcare costs, jewelry, Hallmark holidays, fancy restaurants for dates, marriage and wedding costs, you name it.

Society is afraid of single men because they won't play along.
