TFW - you know something that everybody else doesn't.
[–]teslaistheshit45 points46 points47 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Because if you were married w/ kids he knows damn well how much pressure he can apply. HR just loves it when you fill out the number of dependents on your insurance plan.

He wants someone else he can vent with about how shitty it is when the wife won't fuck anymore, when the kids don't let you sleep and grow up to hate you and how his wife constantly threatens divorce if he doesn't try to make her happy because making her happy should be the only thing that makes him happy.
[–][deleted] 3 points4 points5 points 7 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
Nope. Have several friends who are in big boy industries and HR will send out memos that essentially state the company is looking for new hires and that married men>unmarried men. Even if the unmarried males are much more qualified.

Why not marry. Why no kids.
I've seen this ship ramping up too. I just lost my job (I think) because I'm a single man. Other guys there are on their 2nd and 3rd (maybe 4th) marriage. Then again, business and work was slowing down, but either way, I've seen this VERY PERSONAL line of questioning come into play now. Something that wasn't relevant even 5 years ago.
Now?
"Why u no have gf and/or marry?"
It's absolutely idiotic.
[–][deleted] 10 points11 points12 points 7 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link
You're not imagining this. Have friends in big boy industries and HR says to look specifically for married men>unmarried men.
I've also gotten the "well we know Bob is on a big project but it's his daughter's/son's ballet/ice skating/soccer/whatever so he needs to be home before 2pm for the next three months, you're getting his shit salad." So pretty much Bob hasn't done jack shit knowing he can pull the family card, and now I'm on the hook for my work and his work. FUCKING BULLSHIT and if I complain HR can pull the "not a team player card" and when the yearly review comes up they are going to say "your work seems to be suffering, what do you think the reasons might be?" I don't know, Bob/poor management/HR bitches?
[–][deleted] 6 points7 points8 points 7 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
Yea, but how does HR respond when I tell them I'm a white man, and your own social policies have marked me for genocide? HR, how do you expect me to get married when you spit on me for existing? HR, can you put your CEO on the line so that I can ask him? Can your CEO explain how he needs to stick his nose in everyone else's business? Does the CEO run a business for profit, or babysitting women?
Yea. 'Business'.
I know I sound a little extreme, but there is alot of truth in my reply.
[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Of course there's lots of truth to what you said but stating the truth isn't p.c. in this kosher blessed social climate.

"New applicant is hostile toward the company, sympathizes with white supremacists, lacks patriotism. No second interview."
You aren't going to talk to the CEO, he's either henpecked and/or soft haraming the shit out of the ladies at work.
It's simple. They don't fucking care. This is why western civilization as we know it is going to tank. The people who can go for the big wins aren't allowed in the game. I.E. (usually) white, (usually) of European descent, usually single, sometimes MGTOW, ALWAYS male. There will be less of us and more of them. Don't worry, you'll still get blamed when it collapses.

[–]MSP_Generalist0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

ya was just at a work thing but out of the office. ran into an old friend who was aggressively trying to get me to talk to her friend who thought i was cute. there is always a smirk of smugness when i get into these situations, people just are not used to people who don't play the modern mating games anymore.
but i'm not a smug person. that type of presumption only comes from years of experience. i'm almost 40, but younger guys need to be aware, it always ends AWALT. every single fucking time. you see enough marriages and you just realize, women do not want equality. they hope they get a Chad to dominate them. if not, they just get bored and disgusted by you (yes even very high level men) and it just turns toxic.
[–]MSP_Generalist2 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This is so accurate. Men gain literally nothing from marriages. We pay for a expensive ass ring, pay for expensive ass wedding ceremony... what do women pay for? Nothing.. I'm not slaving extra hours at work nust to buy some $5,000 ring for some chick that could potentially cheat on me, get pregnant by someone else behind my back, steal half my income.. fuck that shit. The marriage rates will definitely plummet more than it already is. Women are becoming a liability/financial burden more and more each day.

IF SIGNING A PRENUP IS OFFENSIVE TO A WOMAN, THAN LETS REMOVE THE LAW SAYING ITS ILLEGAL TO RAPE YOUR WIFE. I mean they both trust each other within the marriage. Right?
Her-"But honey, I don't want you for your money, we don't need the law in our marriage.
Me-Ok .. let's get rid of the law saying rape could even occur in a marriage. I mean you trust me right? And you know I'd never hurt you right? So we don't need rape laws within marriage.
Nope. For some reason women want laws to protect themselves against their husbands in that case.

Bro! Me and my last ex had this discussion on signing prenups. She was so offended by the fact that I wanted her to sign a prenup if we ever got married. I asked her why does she feel entitled to my money. I dont feel entitled to hers. Its complete bs bro. They want our money no matter what.
[–]ThirstySasquatch61 points62 points63 points 7 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link
Had this happen to me as well. When I provided the well articulated reasons why I would have wanted one, she responded with "Well prenups get thrown out all the time so it doesn't matter anyways."
And hence, the red pill started.

Well at least you avoided that shit show. Ideally, marriage would be like a see-saw where each person must contribute equally to keep the ride going. Instead, the expectation is that men fight against gravity to get down then push back up again like magic and the person on the other end weighs twice as much as them.

It used to be legal to force your wife to have sex...not quite sure when the laws changed.
I once read (years ago) that it in Brazil was legal to KILL your wife if she cooked your dinner badly (which made me chuckle). I have no idea if it's true But I made a point of quoting it to any girl I dated just to piss her off. Well TBF I did hundreds of things to piss GF's off, which is why I am now MGTOW.

In 1984 I was working as a valet in a condo complex (parking cars to get through college) in Miami. I parked the female DA's car who was the first in the cuntry to prosecute a man for raping his wife. They gave this broad practically a ticker tape parade for doing it. She was so happy, like a movie star. One day a broad is going to be the first to prosecute a man for "eye rape". And it's going to be the same thing. A ticker tape parade.
appropriate that happened on 1984
[–]cleats4u0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link
She had a white 280Z. I think back then they were still called Datsuns instead of Nissans. One of the other valets decided to take it for a spin at 3 in the morning. He smoked a joint and left the roach in her ash tray. She complained to management the valets were smoking pot in her car. Sure would have been funny if she would have got pulled over and busted for it. Lol.

Men: Provide the world and everything in it. Women: Pay for the above with sex.
If you don't pay your mortgage, rent, or bills what happens? You quit getting service right?
Those laws existed so the thot would keep getting service and in typical self sabotaging self obsolescing manner thots have undermined their own value yet again.

it's part of the contract. You don't reject your partner, both ways btw. Of course they took all that out. Marriage 'vows' are an absolute joke to women. They smile and the unsaid words are: ... right now, until i change my mind, for any reason, which makes all these vows null and void.

I don’t know about Brazil, but I do know that in Russia, wedding ceremonies involved the father of the bride whipping his daughter, and then giving the whip to his new son-in-law to symbolize the transfer of ownership.
The new son-in-law was to, magnanimously, say he didn’t expect to need the whip.
[–]thot_cunt_kicker0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Excellent. Does that still happen today?
No, Peter the Great abolished the practice and replaced it with a German-style kiss.
Not the wife-beating—just the whipping ritual at weddings specifically. Beatings continued otherwise.

...by having all these "laws" against men, women can bear the power of the state against them at their whim. Prenups arnt worth the paper they are written on...in fact they might be beneficial for women, as they instill a false sense of safety in their husbands.
[–]retal1ator8 points9 points10 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
If a girl is aware, even remotely, of what are the risks for men in a marriage... then she should understand why someone would want to sign a prenup. From my experience, women get offended because it's like you're denying them the power that their friends have over their husbands: for them it's a life accomplishment as a woman to lock in your resources.
(Prenut, as far as I know, are still useless in court anyway)
[–]easeof291174 points5 points6 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Laws are great in marriage - says many women. They have no complaints about that. Suddenly the law is unjust with pay and sexual harrassment. We see where there priorities are. Not in fairness but in more power. What will they do with this power? Increase their choices while using men as resources to fund them.

[–]easeof291170 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
A man should be offended there are 'rape in marriage' laws as much as women are mad we want a prenup signed. They both are based on not trusting the other partner and requiring law to protect one side. Get it? In short, rape laws are good, and prenups are good. Too bad prenups aren't taken seriously.

It's been a while since I read the book. But she just talked about the Red Pill in an analytical observant way. She just stated the facts.
Near the end of the book she recommended PUA reading material. I believe it was Mystery.
When I read the book I found myself agreeing a lot with it. So with that basic knowledge I knew what to look for and research the Red Pill on my own.
So to answer your question. Is she Red Pill? I don't think so. She is a psychologist that writes a lot about Red Pill men. She does not condemn. Just states the facts in a non judgemental way.

I watched The Kids are Alright TV show last night and it was a major red pill. Set in the late seventies, the story last night was of course about Christmas. The brother in law not married, no kids, was coming to visit and the husband was freaking out over how much his brother in law has to spend. He was making comments to his wife about what new car is her brother going to show up with this year. The Husband's jealously was made apparent all through the show.
So anyway the brother in law pulls in driveway with a 40 ft fully laid out motor home. The married guy has zero money to spend with a wife and five kids.
The 70s and 80s and even 90s (for comedy in the UK at least) were great for TV - could say anything you wanted be as sexist/red-pilled and racist as you felt like (although even back then the racist was made too look stupid).
Nothing was off limits.

[–]sphinx262615 points16 points17 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Back in the "day" or BF (before feminism) the marriage was the exchange of responsibility over the female from her father to her husband. In the same way that the man was responsible for her care she was responsible for attending to his legacy, home, estate, family w.e. love or tingles did not factor into this equation.
The Goverment with the help and backing of the banking cartels have pushed a new wave of thinking and legislation for women. This new way has destroyed what marriage was. Thus it is no longer possible in countries ruled by banking cartels. (Esentially the western world).
[–]thxnwy14 points15 points16 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
"Back in the day" there wasn't no fault divorce. In case of divorce the father kept the kids, they were his financial responsibility (just like today), but unlike today he also had the right to be with them and the ex wife didn't. Society also frowned upon divorce and it was a rare thing. A divorced man would likely remarry to have another woman taking care of the kids.
A husband also had authority in the marriage. A wife out of line could be spanked like a kid. Of course you still couldn't brutally beat your wife.
Stable sex was one benefit as extramarital affairs were much more shameful than today. If the husband wanted sex he got sex.
So you got someone to have sex with, to give birth to your children (which was a rather risky affair, and people had more babies than today) breastfeed them, change diapers, was them, bath the kids, clean the house, cook, do the groceries, some yard work, wash clothes, etc, without electronic appliances. It was a fairly balanced deal if you ask me.
[–]wolfoftheworld1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I suppose so. All very good points.
That is why I'm glad we have evolved past all of that! 😁
It's still exactly like that in large parts of the world today - SE Asia for example - all of the above still holds true, including the beating/father keeping the kids.
One thing that doesn't change? You'll still end up with a nagging harpy of a wife. And eventually an old crone.
Man oh MAN the ex-wife got pissy when I bought that book lol.
Hmm, in fact, I think that bitch threw it away. Too late, cuntbag. I already absorbed the information.

The only reason men are going after this shit is because their sexuality is being used against them. Yeah it's a horrible deal... but you gotta have that pussy, right?
This is why there's a huge stigma around porn and sex dolls. Men don't give a shit about women getting off on porn because they still depend on men for other resources, but women freak out every single time when a guy is getting all of his sexual satisfaction from porn and sex dolls, because then women are unable to control him anymore.

I've heard good things about it. I can't get the book where I'm from though.
Exactly!

I live in German. Just moved in with my girlfriend, she earns more money than me - a lot more.
I'd love to marry her, if we divorce she has to pay me money every month. What kind of shitty laws do you guys have?

Oh, you'll still be giving her money. What is hypergamy and gynocentrism?

That's still shitty, albeit not for you. If a marriage ends, the idea that the financially useful spouse should be stuck subsidizing the other following a divorce is absurd.
