I think for a lot of men the woman they marry is their whole world. A man who is really in love thinks only the highest of the woman he loves. You can call it putting someone on a pedestal, fine. Wasn't married but cohabitated. Very similar story. She was running the streets while I was at work. Of course it was all my fault for working. One night I found her at another guys house and went in and confronted them, they were in bed. From there I handled it all wrong. I threatened to beat his ass then I begged her to come back. Saying I was pussy whipped is wrong, there was no way I could get a hard on for someone who betrayed me. In hindsight I should have thrown her things out of my house, onto his yard. She should have been his problem from that moment on. If I could do it again that's what I'd do.

Who is not reprimanded for a wrong action would surely repeat it. Why that woman doesn't work? It's a pathetic thing most of us lived, myself cheated once forgave her, then she dumped for another guy.
