It's too risky for men to approach, you could get falsely accused of rape even 30+ years later. Not to mention that all the hottest dudes on Tinder are getting all the sex, so the average dudes in the area are missing out.

In addition, young men have been brainwashed into thinking that even asking a woman out on a date is a form of sexual harassment.

Technology and social ramifications.

It's easier to keep oneself entertained with anti-social media. And it is much harder for men to attract a mate when tinder, bumble and other swipe whatever dating apps.

That and if a man has sex, she can change her mind after the fact and accuse him of rape, putting him in the position of having to have absolute rock-solid and undeniable evidence that affirmative consent was given.

This is why it is better for men in western culture to walk away from it and improve themselves and enjoy life how they see fit.

Fun fact if your ever being harrassed by sjws or women in general about not dating them, and you've gone monk mode, tell them your Ace (asexual) and you would prefer if they respected your sexuality.
