I would like to see what happens if/when a male birth control method is created and available to the public. Something like what vasalgel is supposed to be where a simple injection makes you shoot blanks for the next 10-15 years. If it were to become popular, women that like to trick men into getting them pregnant and then make bank off the forced child support payments would have alot more trouble.

The entire world is moving towards a homogenous culture in which we substitute all our primal needs with facsimiles of them. I have little doubt that within 50 years, the needs of companionship and romance will be fulfilled with virtual reality fictional partners and children. Why have a real relationship when you can have one that is far better with an special-purpose A.I. that will emulate the perfect partner?

People will come home from work and plug into a V.R. simulation the way that people of the late 20th century just sat in front of the T.V. And why do you need to have a nice house when you can live in a virtual beach front mansion while your physical body is in a tiny apartment. It's cheaper and better than the real thing. We can all be rich in V.R. We can all be hot in V.R. We can all be popular in V.R. We can all be loved in V.R. The hard part is remembering to unplug from time to time and accomplish something in A.R., actual reality.

Any forward thinking politician or businessman would never greenlight a male contraceptive that is effective like birth control. Any such product would devastate the tax base and economy single handedly. Imagine how much commerce is driven simply because men want to get laid or married, now think about how our current population is already below replacement rate (social programs/defense spending will implode) and if guys aren't buying things to accommodate a mate everything from homes to deodorant suddenly becomes less marketable.

I believe the technology is already here - sex dolls, AI waifu, anime waifus. Its only going to get better. I think what remains in a psychological/cultural shift for normalization.

Men still have a very idealized view of women and relationships. As more and more women get on the "don't need no man" train I think this shift will happen automatically. Men will realize it's just not worth it, especially with the other options available.

I don't think sex dolls are going to be as big as some people think. I just don't see how they can cross the uncanny valley. I'd say virtual reality has more potential. Virtual reality plus a sex doll might be the answer.

On the social media side, I'll be interested to see what happens with OnlyFans. It's pretty popular already, but it's only going to grow. It gives women everything they want: money and validation. I think it will put a lot of them out of the dating market. Then they'll hit the wall and there's going to be a shitload of angry 30+ women about 15-20 years from now. You'll also see a rise in simps and incels.
